The surface is a blend of quartz sand and marble aggregates bound with durable resin. It feels like sand underfoot, but it stays in place. It can flow from your lawn into the water as a true beach entry, then curve into swim-up seating, sun shelves, rock features or deep swimming water, in any shape your landscape suggests.

Sorgiva® circulation
Instead of returning water through wall jets, the patented Italian Sorgiva® system distributes filtered water beneath the floor and lets it rise evenly up through the permeable sand surface. The result is gentle, uniform circulation with very few visible fittings.

Our artisans hand-trowel a surface of quartz sand and marble aggregates bound with durable resin. It feels like a sandy shore underfoot, stays in place, and comes in a palette of natural tones.

Is the sand loose?
No. The surface is quartz sand and marble aggregates bound with a durable resin. It has the look and soft texture of sand, but it doesn't wash away, track into the house or end up in your filter.
How does the water stay clean?
The Sorgiva® system circulates filtered water evenly up through the permeable floor, which helps avoid the stagnant "dead zones" common in conventional pools. You still have standard filtration and sanitation, and the system is designed to reduce chemical demand and maintenance.
Can a sand pool handle Western New York winters?
We design every pool for our local freeze-thaw climate. That includes structural engineering, drainage and the right equipment choices. Our care plans include professional opening and winterization each season.
Can I add heating, a spa or lighting?
Yes. Heating extends the season, and spas, fire features, waterfalls and lighting can all be designed into the same sculpted form.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the design, site conditions and permitting. We'll give you a clear schedule during the design phase, and we plan construction around the WNY building season.
